We had booked for 5 nights, but only chose to stay for one night. The location wasn’t great for what we wanted to do. Tidy, clean hotel.

What was the highlight of Chiang Mai Residence

Nice looking room with little substance.

Location is Ok, room looks nice and beds are comfy enough.

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room, breakfast is extra with no vegetarian option, no hairdryer in the room (they will bring one up if asked). When we checked in noone showed us to our room and simply showed a key across the desk to us, I had to ask where the room was and how to get there. I was leaving to go to Vietnam the next day and needed my visa printed and when I asked if they could they just replied "no can" while sat next to a printer. Also every time we went out and they cleaned the room they opened all the windows which let mosquitos in.

Should have booked 2 days so l could go elsewhere. 9 days was huge mistake.

They have limited ability to cook anything.

No water go kitchen sink 9 days of no TV.Cable had poor connection No wall safe Smith Residences next time

the evening staff were fantastic, nothing too much trouble. Big spacious rooms with a little old facioned grandness. Best beds for comfort in our travels. Well located.

The mature lady on reception needs re training in customer service. The whole place could do with a clean-down. Cobwebs everywhere. Don't think about chancing the pool.

Clean rooms, decent wifi, air con, helpful staff, easy to rent cars and motorbikes or tourist packages if that's what your into, saves walking around town finding those things for yourself... fairly quiet non tourist part of town with everything in walking distance including the "touristy" bits
